Running On Borrowed Time !!!

Jus came of out a long hot shower…It feels so nice and refreshing!!! Once again i spent 1 whole day finishing the whole series of japanese manga. This time around it is ICHIGO 100%. Lol i guess i have the tendency of doing stupid things before exams…..  It took me a whole 3 years to finish the reading the whole series (it took the author 3 years to finish it drawing everything too)! I feel totally renewed after reading the finalle!!!

For those who have not heard about ICHIGO 100%, its a japanese manga about a boy who has a dream of becoming a famous movie director, works hard to achieve it and at the same have 3 beautiful gals helplessly in luv wif him (that lucky BASTARD!!!). To some it may b jus a mindless manga which uses pretty gals (frequently showing of their sexy lingeries and appearing in suggestive poses) to attract readers but i seriously feel that there is more to it.

Reading the manga reminds me of the good old junior and senior high i went tru. Years so full of dreams and innocence. Times when u feel that u own the world and that nothing can go wrong; times when first luv is everything u look forward to; times when u have a dream, and sincerely pursue it with all ur might and will and that life without dream could be devastating….

Manaka-kun is some1 i can relate to, of coz i dun mean the 3 admirer, but the zest he holds in him to pursue his dream of becoming a director. I m probably a bit better of than him, considering that i m used to b a straight-As student and that he has to struggle wif his studies at the same time trying his very best to make his dream come true. Nevertheless, i do have a dream (of coz i do not dream of becomign a director) and used to rush around with a zest as mighty as his. Like him, i wud do all my best to fulfill my dreams, working hard and playing hard at the same time, getting arrogant at my little successes and like him tend to forget about those important me wen i am at it.

But unlike manaka, i lost my zest somewhile back.  Lol, i mus admit that i wasn’t the kind of guy to study hard and is that kind of guy that still reads mangas during exam periods and going for movies when it is jus a day before exam. I sincerely duno y i got good results back then but 1 thing i can b sure is that i had the determination to be a doctor, I may fool around but my zest is still there.

Today, after finishing the whole series of ICHIGO 100%, i think i remembered my dreams once more. My real dream. And this time around i dun think i gona let it go again! Dream, i realise after reading tis manga, is not something u leave lying around unattended to, it is something that requires ur constant will, determination and attention: DREAMS ARE NOTHING IF U DUN FULFILL THEM!!!

p/s: ppl always wonder y i like reading manga so much, i think this is y, it makes me think and most of the time, they usually have something u can relate to. There was 1ce a professor who said, comics, cartoons, mangas and its likes are a way of discussing about life!
